More about WP plugins

I disabled pingbacks and trackbacks. Simple Trackback Validation is useless, because nowadays the jerks really create web pages  that include excerpts of your posts and link back to you. Sorry, pingboys, I hate this kind of spam, and you ruined an initially generous idea.

I hate to use the Flash uploader (when and where it works), and I wanted to skip the clicking that was needed to reach the standard one. To avoid hacking WP, I installed the No Flash Uploader plugin, which disables the whole thing elegantly:
